PureH₂O^®LTD. actively supports disaster relief operations throughout the Caribbean region. We are guided in our humanitarian mission by the belief that we should strive to give more than we take from life.
Following natural disasters we supply clean water, food and other critical support to those in need, with a focus on children and the most vulnerable.

We collaborate with individuals and disaster relief organizations that share our core values and humanitarian objectives.

In addition to our direct charitable operations, PureH₂O^® offers emergency potable water systems to qualified humanitarian and disaster relief organizations at low factory prices. These rugged, mobile water systems are delivered in ISO containers, on pallets for quick air response, and skid-mounted on towable trailers. The systems are designed to produce ultra-pure potable water from seawater, brackish water and fresh water sources.

The Caribbean region is especially vulnerable to natural disasters. In recent years we have experienced numerous 7.0 magnitude earthquakes and CAT 5 hurricanes that killed hundreds of thousands of people and destroyed tens of billions of dollars of property. Each of these natural disasters displaced large numbers of people for extended periods without electricity, clean water and other critical resources.

Disaster Relief and Single-Use Plastics: The Challenge.

**Dedicated humanitarian organizations around the world respond each day to natural disasters and save countless lives.**

Most disaster relief operations include the delivery of tons of single-use plastic bottled water and other disposable plastic products. It's an unfortunate fact that we are creating a plastic garbage crisis for many of the disaster stricken areas and people we are trying to protect and serve. Our natural ecosystem in the Caribbean Islands is now at extreme risk from single-use plastic pollution.

**According to the Ocean Conservancy, 8 million metric tons of plastic enters the ocean every year.**

Stop for a moment and think about the effect that level of plastic waste has on nearly 700 marine species. Ponder the helpless position of our local fisherman, whose nets often contain more plastic garbage than fish. Imagine the condition of our beautiful island ecosystem 50 years from now--if we don't act quickly to reduce the amount of single-use plastics we consume.
